Alekseev’s Design Bureau engineer and build hydrofoil boats and gliding boats with various bottom mechanization due to the own productions capacity.
JSC Alekseev’s Design Bureau’s hydrofoils have long and success exploitation history all over the world.
The head vessel of hydrofoil boat "Volga" was engineered and built on the territory of "Krasnoe Sormolovo" shipyard by R.E.Alekseev in 1958 year.
Nowadays, this hydrofoil boat has been upgraded at Alekseev’s Design Bureau building premises and it is used for the carrying out of high-speed boats tests. The advanced "Volga" characterized with excellent hydrodynamics and after new engine installation, it builds up speed up to 90 km/h.
The new generation hydrofoil boat "Dolphin" was represented in 2014 year. Nowadays, there was built a head vessel and a series of hydrofoil boats are being built for certain customers.
Gliding boats are included in high-speed boat series, engineered by Alekseev’s Design Bureau.
The foil is shaped to move smoothly through thewater while displac-ing some water downwards, creating an upwards force on the foil. This up-ward force lifts thebody of the vessel, decreasing drag and increasing speed. The lifting force eventually balances with the weight ofthe craft, reaching a point where the hydrofoil no longer lifts out of the water, but remains in equi-librium. Since theforce of the waves acts over a smaller area of the hydrofoil, there is a marked decrease in turbulence drag.
Alekseev’s Design Bureau designs follow projects: "Chibis", "Chirok", "Kobra", for which new hitg-speed boat engineering "know-how" technologies are used, what allows to provide good high-speed and sea-keeping characteristics.
