On
May 16, 2017 JSC “R.E.Alexeev’s Hydrofoil DB” (Hydrofoil Design Bureau named
after R.E.Alexeev) launched general service boat “Katran”at the territory of
JSC “Plant Red Sormovo”, - says the press-service of CDB.
It
is noted that it was the first experience of the building at
own production of the projects of the third-party organization in the history
of DB - a joint work of JSC “CMDB “Almaz” and JSC “R.E.Alexeev’s Hydrofoil
Design Bureau” for JSC “Shiprepairing Center “Zvyozdochka”.
“Katran” - the high-speed high-maneuverable boat
of wide application. It will be located on the carrier-vessel and used for the
transporation of people, cargo and towing of different floating crafts with the
displacement of up to 70 tons, as well as to provide the daily activity of main
vessel during the riding at anchor, inshore moorings and in the base.
The biat is capable to achieve the speed up to
the 32 knots and board 10 passengers. It is fitted with the equipment for
ensuring of diving work process. What is more, there are implemented the technical
solutions in the construction, which provide its safe launch and lifting with
the crew to the board of the carrier-vessel at the sea disturbance of up to 4
points.
For
more than 65 years JSC “R.E.Alexeev’s Hydrofoil DB” carried out the works on
design of high-speed transport units of civil, dual and military purposes,
which use different hydrodynamic maintain principles. These are hovercrafts and hydrofoils,
air-cavity vessels and gliding boats with different bottom’s mechanization,
transport-amphibious platforms and ekranoplanes. For today, there are built
more than 8000 passenger vessels and boats, operated in 35 countries of the
world, which are based on the projects of CDB.
In
the framework pf the Federal target program ‘Development of civil and marine engineering”,
JSC “R.E.Alexeev’s Hydrofoil Design Bureau” worked out six projects of sea and
river passenger, cargo-passenger vessels of new generation. Four vessels of
them are hydrofoils – “Kometa 120M”, “Valdai 45R”, “Albatros 120R”, “Tsiklon
250M” and two air-cavity vessels – SVK-100 and SVK-10.
